Tomatoes almost ready

Ripe Tomato in Hoophouse

We’ve been harvesting a few tomatoes from the hoophouse in the last week. Unfortunately not enough yet for the CSA. But the flood should start soon. I expect you’ll see the first tomatoes in the boxes for week 7. A bit later that I wanted, partly due to the cold spring and partly due to us not pushing the tomatoes more. The hoophouse they are in was only completed in April meaning it was a rush to get these planted in the first week of May. But, better late then never. Following this in another 3 weeks we should have huge amounts coming from the field.
